The thermodynamic properties and stability of tert-butyl peroxyesters of o-and m-carborane-1-carboxylic acids

The paper presents the results of experimental determination of the enthalpies of combustion and formation and the temperature dependence of the heat capacity of the o-and m-derivatives of tert-butyl peroxyesters of carborane-1-carboxylic acid. The entropies and Gibbs energies of formation of these compounds were calculated. The enthalpies, entropies, and Gibbs energies of the o-m transitions of the isomers in the condensed and gaseous states were determined.
