| Abstract: | In this paper, the author studies the stability for the nonhomogeneous Timoshenko beam with one local memory damping. The exponential stability under certain hypothesis is proved. The method is based on the operator semigroup theory, the multiplier technique, and the contradiction argument of the frequency domain method. |
