Abstract: | Abstract A new method is described for the efficient and high regioselective conversion of epoxides to symmetrical and unsymmetrical vic-dihalides in high yields using chlorodiphenylphosphine and N-halosuccinimides under solvent-free and neutral conditions and at room temperature.
