| Abstract: | 2 cryostat that permits placement of both the collimation optics and the extended-cavity elements within a vacuum chamber. We have observed tuning of the laser frequency over a 1.44 THz (48 cm-1) range by rotation of the external grating. This result was obtained without anti-reflection coating of the laser output facet.
