Abstract: | ![]() The approach to symmetries given by Kerr and Debney (1970) is applied to the class of vacuum Robinson-Trautman solutions. The coordinate freedom is extended and used to define the pull-backs of local diffeomorphisms which are then shown to be homothetic motions. The resulting homothetic Killing's equations are solved to give a form of all homothety groups for this class. |
