Slow-electron excitation of 3 S, 3 P, and 3 P 0 levels of the strontium atom

The electron impact excitation of ³ S, ³ P, and ³ P ⁰ levels of atomic strontium was investigated by the methods of extended crossed beams and optical spectroscopy. The results obtained are compared with the data of the previous experiment and the theoretical results. The behavior of excitation cross sections in spectral series of SrI is discussed.
