| Abstract: | Noncatalyzed reaction of α-acetyl-γ-butyrolactones containing a polyfluoroalkyl substituent in the γ-position with hydrazine hydrate and thiosemicarbazide in methanol leads to the formation of substituted 3-pyrazolin-5-ones that in (CD3)2SO solution and in the solid state exist in the NH-tautomeric form. |
