Abstract:In this paper, the influence of gain varying stochastically on fiber soliton communication system is studied, and the method of reducing the influence is analyzed. It is indicated that the existence of stochastic gain make soliton amplitude jitter but does not affect soliton frequency. Both fiber amplifier operating at saturation state and the introduction of filterscan reduce the jitter induced by stochastic gain and their operation together on soliton systemmakes it more stable.
