Implementation of comparative probability by normal states. Infinite dimensional case

Abstract:Let hamilt be an infinite dimensional Hilbert space and weierp(hamilt) the set of all (orthogonal) projections on hamilt. A comparative probability on weierp(hamilt) is a linear preorder lE on weierp(hamilt) such thatOlEPlE1,1lnEO and such that ifPR,QR, thenPlEQhArrP+RlEQ+R for allP, Q, R in weierp(hamilt). We give a sufficient and necessary condition for lE to be implemented in a canonical way by a normal state onB(hamilt), the bounded linear operators on hamilt.
