| Abstract: | New types of doubled electro-optic, and low voltage controlled doubled elasto-optic light shutters containing Brewster-angle cut crystals instead of separate polarizers are investigated. Light transmission characteristics show that the devices without polarizers can give a modulation depth of about 20%. |
