Abstract: | Electrospray mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) is an established method for the qualitative analysis of synthetic peptide libraries and combinatorial mixtures or collections of small organic compounds. However, the calculation of the mass distribution of even small peptide mixtures is a time-consuming and error-proned task. Therefore, the computer program MS-Pep has been developed, which calculates the masses of expected peptides, byproducts and the mass distributions of peptide libraries.
