| Abstract: | 0-Acylated N-alkylolamides3 were prepared from the quinazolinyl-azides1 by heating1 in acetic anhydride. Cleavage of the ester moiety by acetic acid yielded the free alkylolamides4. Possible reaction mechanisms are discussed. |
