| Abstract: | A new cyano-bridged complex Eu(DMSO)3(H2O)3Cr(CN)6] ·H2O with one-dimensional chain molecular structure was synthesized and characterized. The crystal data for the title complex: orthorhombic, P212121, a=0.972 2(3)nm, b=1.489 5(4) nm, c=1.748 6(5)nm, Z=4,μ=3.171 mm-1, final R1=0.0204, wR2=0.043 4. From magnetic susceptibility measurements the complex was found to exhibit a weak ferromagnetic interaction between the Eu (Ⅲ)and Cr(Ⅲ) atoms. CCDC: 272212. |
