| Abstract: | In this paper lamp pumping and diode pumping for solid-state lasers are compared. The different forms of pumping for different sorts of solid-state lasers are analyzed in details. It is the conclusion that the diode pumped solid-state lasers are the main trend of the future development of solid-state lasers. |
