The decay of 18.2m 104Tc

¹⁰⁴Tc was produced through the¹⁰⁴Ru(n, p)¹⁰⁴Tc reaction using target material enriched to 99.7% in¹⁰⁴Ru. The energies and intensities of theγ-rays emitted by¹⁰⁴Tc were measured with a multichannel Ge(Li) spectrometer. A revised level scheme is proposed which contains 33 levels and incorporates 85γ- ray transitions. The half life of¹⁰⁴Tc was observed to be 18.2±0.5 min.
