On the density of electronic states in a quantum well of an anharmonic solid under a perpendicular magnetic field

Abstract:For the first time, given an anharmonic solid as an atomic array of quantum Morse oscillators, the electronic density of states per unit area in an ideal one-dimensional quantum well under a perpendicular, time-independent, uniform magnetic field is calculated. From this result, some aspects related to the classical limit are discussed.
