On the ferromagnetism of thin films |

| Abstract: | In this paper the magnetic properties of ferromagnetic thin layers are studied by calculating the partition function for the magnetic system inKirkwood's approximation of the second order. The results obtained for the Curie temperature and the magnetization are in somewhat better agreement with the experiment than those obtained by Valenta.
