2-Perfluoroalkylethanol reacts with cyanuric chloride to produce the perfluoroalkylethoxy triazine in the presence of alkali hydroxide or hydride.The selectivity to the mono-substituent product is affected by the catalyst and reaction temperature.A variety of the derivatives of the mono-substituent product were prepared in high yields. The results in the application of the derivatives to the fiber will be presented.
