| Abstract: | Based on the understanding of the strain-softening effect on the formation of shear band bifurcation discussed previously, this paper investigates: (1) the stressing condition which most facours the occurrence of shear band bifurcation, (2) what are the mechanical model and the governing parameters for simulating the curved band-type bifurcation. |
