Acoustic load dependency of electroacoustic efficiency in the electrostrictive ultrasonic transducer and acoustical matching

The acoustic load dependency of the electroacoustic efficiency in the electrostrictive transducer is derived theoretically and measured experimentally. The results show that there is an optimum acoustic load resistance which maximizes the electroacoustic efficiency. It is considered reasonable to cite the optimum condition as ‘acoustical matching’ of the transducer to the acoustic load.
