Abstract: | Nonlinear differential equations of the fifth order, which govern the oscillations of the human vocal cords, are analyzed. A combined numerical technique is used to observe the regular and irregular solutions of these equations. A scenario from periodic, via quasiperiodic to chaotic attractor is demonstrated. A perturbation of the strange chaotic attractor to principal, combination and primary resonances is also discussed and illustrated. |
