| Abstract: | Summary Difference schemes on more than one mesh, called composite mesh difference methods (CMDM), are considered for hyperbolic equations. A stability proof for a one-dimensional CMDM is presented and a numerical experiment by a CMDM for the inviscid shallow-water equations is described.Research supported by the Swedish Natural Science Research Council (Nfr. 2711-18) |
