Abstract:S and Cr co-doped TiO2 nanomaterials(S-Cr-TiO2) and Cr doped TiO2 nanomaterials were synthesized by solid state reaction method.The textural properties of the samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),ultraviolet visible spectrometry(UV-Vis),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) and N2 adsorption-desorption technology.The photodegradation properties of water soluble aniline blue(ANB) on the materials from irradiating with visible light were investigated.The results showed that S atoms as S6+ states have been incorporated into the lattice of TiO2 or the interstice of TiO2 lattice,and Cr ions occupy the sites of Ti in crystal lattice by isomorphous replacement.The form of S-Cr-TiO2 nanomaterials was anatase phase.S and Cr co-doping TiO2 can effectively embarrass the crystal growth of TiO2.Interestingly,the UV-vis diffuse reflection absorption spttrum showed that the absorption region of S-Cr-TiO2 material covered the visible light region and extended to near infrared region.Moreover,at 25℃,pH 6.5,the rule of pseudo-first-order reaction and high catalytic activity were found in the visible light degradation of ANB on the S-Cr-TiO2 nanomaterials.Within 120min,the visible light degradation ratio of ANB was 83.7%.The reaction rate constant of S-Cr-TiO2 material was 1.96 times and 1.38 times corresponding to pure TiO2 and Cr-TiO2,respectively.
