| Abstract: | The resonance CARS spectra of the S1 states of rhodamine 6G, rhodamine B and sulforhodamine were obtained by choosing ω1 resonant with the S1 ← S0 and S3 ← S1 transitions simultaneously and by varying the laser beam power density of ω1 or ω2. The vibrational frequencies for the S0 and S1 states are similar, implying that the structure of the S1 state is not distorted significantly. |
