Rotational isomerism in 1-pentyne |

| Abstract: | Infrared and Raman spectra have been obtained and normal coordinate calculations have been made for 1-pentyne. It has been shown that this compound exists in two molecular conformations. A force field has been obtained that can be transferred to other 1-alkynes. |
