Abstract:Trifunctional green catalysis : In‐depth characterization shows that oxidant‐free selective oxidation of alcohols by silver nanoparticles on γ‐Al2O3, as a new heterogeneous catalyst, proceeds through cooperation of silver, acid, and base sites (see figure).
