| Abstract: | The soil sample was digested with HCl-NHO_3-HF-HClO_4 and fumed with HClO_4 to dryness. The residue was treated with small amounts of HNO_3, and Cd~(2+) in the sample solution was reacted with DDTC to form Cd-DDTC complex which was extracted with CCl_4. Cadmium was back-extracted into aqueous phase with a mixture of HNO_3-H_2O_2, in which Cd~(2+) was determined by FAAS. The working condition of the instrument was given. |
