3,3,10,10‐Tetra­methyl‐1,2‐di­thia‐5,8‐di­aza­cyclo­deca‐4,8‐diene

The title compound, C₁₀H₁₈N₂S₂, acts as an important precursor for the synthesis of the pharmaceutically important di­amine­di­thiol ligand system. The mol­ecule has a local twofold axis and the arrangement of the S₂N₂ donor atoms in the macrocycle is anticlinal.
