| Abstract: | We determine the lattice kissing numbers of tetrahedra, by which we disprove a conjecture by Grünbaum. At the same time, we present a strange phenomenon concerning kissing numbers and packing densities of tetrahedra. This article is based upon part of the author's Ph.D. thesis which was supported by the Austrian Academic Exchange Service. |
