Abstract:
A new method on fabrication of cobalt hexacyanoferrate modified glassy carbon(CoHCF/GC) electrode is described. The method is easy to manipulate and control the coverage of CoHCF on the surface of the GC electrode. The CoHCF/GC electrode shows electrocatalytic activity towards the redox reaction of dopamine(DA) in the phosphate buffer solution with a decreasing of the overpotential of 140 mV. The reaction rate constant of the dopamine oxidation at the CoHCF/GC electrode is determined with rotating disk electrode measurements.
