| Abstract: | For Ba perturbed by Kr, collision-induced dipole transitions 6s21S0 – 6snd1D2 (8?n?10) have been observed. The effective oscillator strength per unit Kr density was found to be 1.8–1.0 x 10-23 cm3. For the electric-quadrupole transition 6s21S0 -6s6d1D2, the oscillator strength is (2.0±0.4) x 10-6. |
