Finite size effects in stochastically driven systems use of the Poisson representation |

| Abstract: | A method is presented to take into account finite size effects in a system under the influence of external noise. Inclusion of external noise in a master equation results in an effective master equation in which new transitions among states are possible. The steady state properties of a chemical systems are calculated using the Poisson representation of the master equation. |
