| Abstract: | Bis(diphenyl methyl)ether was synthesized under microwave irradiation by dry reaction at ambient pressure. The rate of reaction was dramatically accelerated and high yield was obtained, comparing with that of methods using organic solvent as medium or using dry reaction by conventional heating. |
