New N2O laser band in the 10 μm wavelength region |

| Abstract: | Fifty new laser lines have been observed in continuous emission from an N2O laser by placing a hot N2O absorber cell inside the laser cavity to suppress the regular laser lines. The new lines are identified as rotation-vibration transitions of the (0002–1001) band of N2O. |
