Single Longitudinal-mode with Pulsewidth Adjustable Ability Double Frequency Nd:YAG Laser System
Abstract:A single longitudinal-mode dopuble frequency Nd:YAG laser with an unstable quasi-telescopic optical resonator is developed. The output wavelength can be a fundamental wave or a second harmonic wave or both of them. The high energy and narrow spectral linewidth (0. 02 cm ̄-1 wave numbers) pulse output have been demonstrated in this system. Some of experimental results are given. This system can be used as a useful laser source in the fields of optical holography and interferometry.
