| Abstract: | A new aryltetrahydronaphthalene lignan, (+)-cycloolivil formaldehyde condensate (1), was isolated from the whole plants of Epimedium brevicornum (Berberidaceae). Its structure was elucidated on the basis of MS, 1D and 2D NMR techniques. |
