Abstract:The best method of laser molten welding cemented carbides (YG8, YG15) with steel (45 #, A3) is the laser dip soldering. The effect of changing the laser energy density on the bending strength of the welded specimen is investigated. The change of the metallo graphical structure and the composition in the weld seam is discussed. The cause of forming the tearing fissures and the stepped fissures in the forced state as well as its influence on the weld seam stength is also analyzed.
