Intersection Theory for Twisted Cycles

In this paper we generalize two Noether-Lefschetz theorems for surfaces by L. Ein to varieties of arbitrary even dimension. Our results also generalize the classical Noether-Lefschetz theorem for complete intersections of even dimension in ?_n.
