| Abstract: | This paper discussed the construct design of a fixed-fixed undamped massspring system from prescribed data. The prescribed data involve physical parameters of subsystem and partial information of modes. The vibration system is constrained to satify a relation that the sum of mass of system is a constant. The conditions for the existence of the solution is shown. The expression of the solution and the related numerical algorithm is derived. The numerical example is given. |
