| Abstract: | An efficient strategy for the synthesis of endocyclic enol ethers based on a Suzuki-Miyaura coupling/ring-closing metathesis sequence has been developed. The strategy has successfully been applied to the synthesis of spiroacetals, including cytotoxic marine metabolites attenols A and B. |
