| Abstract: | The coefficients in the expansion of adj(λI ? A) are expressed as gradients, and some new representations are given for the Drazin inverse of a matrix over an arbitrary field. These results are then combined to express the Drazin inverse as a gradient of a function of the entries of the matrix. |
