Abstract:A method for the extraction, purification, enrichment and determination of the rhodamine B in glitter powder was established. The sample was extracted by heating, rhodamine B in it was adsorbed by polyamide, resolved by lye, evaporated, diluted to volume and determined by high performance liquid chromatography-UV detector. Measurement conditions: column was ODS C18, mobile phase was methanol-water(volume ratio was 70 : 30), flow rate was 1.5 mL/min, detection wavelength was 550 nm. Rhodamine B had good linear relationship with the peak area in the range of 0.14-22 μg/mL(t=0.999 8). Recovery was 91.7%-104.7%. The RSD was 0,46%,1.45(n=5)%. Detection limit(S/N=3) was 0.033 μ g/mL, and the limit of quantification(S/ N= 10) was 0.11 μg / mL. This method is suitable for determining the content of rhodamine B in glitter powder.
