摘    要: 论述了短脉冲高功率微波在波导内和自由空间中大气击穿的实验研究,给出了不同气压条件下的击穿阈值,并对两实验条件下的结果进行了比较,两种实验的数据统计结果基本一致,证明了采用波导内大气击穿方法来研究大气击穿问题的合理性。

Abstract:Experimental research on short-pulse high power microwave (HPM) air breakdown in waveguide and free space is described. Breakdown thresholds for a range of air pressure are presented. Experiment research on HPM air breakdown in waveguide is proved to be a reasonable method through the comparison of two kinds of experiment data, each kind of which is consistent with another very well.
