The concept of a semi-Riemannian map is introduced and it is shown that such maps are solutions of the eikonal equation. Also the existence of solutions to the eikonal equation are discussed and their relation to the Laplace-Beltrami equation is investigated.Supported by the project TBAG-CG2, Tübitak, Turkey. |
