Abstract:
We have experimentally tested the nonlocal properties of the statesgenerated by a high brilliance source of entanglement which allows thedirect measurement of virtually all the photon pairs emitted over theemission cone at a certain wavelength. By this source we could verify theHardys ladder proof about contradiction between quantum mechanics and localrealism for of entangled photon pairs. The realization of anexperimental test of quantum nonlocality with no need of supplementaryassumptions is also extensively discussed.
