Test of quantum nonlocality by full collection of polarization entangledphoton pairs

Abstract:
We have experimentally tested the nonlocal properties of the statesgenerated by a high brilliance source of entanglement which allows thedirect measurement of virtually all the photon pairs emitted over theemission cone at a certain wavelength. By this source we could verify theHardyrsquos ladder proof about contradiction between quantum mechanics and localrealism for $41%$ of entangled photon pairs. The realization of anexperimental test of quantum nonlocality with no need of supplementaryassumptions is also extensively discussed.
