| Abstract: | Longitudinal plane simple waves having initial profiles in the form of the Chebyshov–Hermite function and propagating in a solid two-phase mixture are studied. The interaction between two simple waves, generation of the third wave because of this interaction, and the conditions for its occurrence are successively stated. The case where the third wave is not generated is analyzed numerically for the first time |
