Recommendation of Column Systems in Expert System for Gas Chromatography

This paper gives an overview of the structure and processes of the software on the recommendation of gas chromatographic(GC )column systems in project expert system for chromatography. The method used for representing knowledge and building knowledge base in the software is discussed. An example of re commendation of column systems using the developed software is presented. The separation mode on whether or not to use GC can be determined < and the column systems can be recommended by the developed software if users answer key questions on structures of components given by the software.
