Medical Applications of Synchrotron Radiation

Medical applications of synchrotron radiation range from infra-red spectroscopy to X-ray imaging and radiation therapy. In this issue we have chosen to highlight programs in the hard X-ray energy range where the imaging and therapy can potentially be carried out in vivo and in a clinical environment.
