| Abstract: | The correlation description of the fluctuations of the frequency shifts, which occur in the sound field interference pattern of a shallow sea because of the spatial variability of the medium, is presented. The frequency shifts of the spectral intensity oscillations are estimated for a number of models of large-scale inhomogeneities. The possibilities for using this phenomenon for monitoring shallow-water ocean regions are discussed. |
