Abstract: | Oxetane based systems were investigated in cationic photopolymerization process. The effect on the rate of polymerization induced by the presence of epoxy monofunctional monomers and vinyl ether monomers were investigated. In both cases an increase of the rate of polymerization is evidenced either induced by a flexibilization effect due to a copolymerization or to a cross-propagation mechanism. Acrylate comonomers were also investigated and the formation of an IPN tightly cross-linked evidenced. |
